Week 8

Another week gone. It was great to listen to the ex detective from Australia who has arrested lots of people for inappropriate use of the internet. Can you remember how to stay safe on the internet? What should you do if somebody contacts you on the internet and tells you they are a 10year old boy from America?

Year six camp starts Tuesday and back after 4pm on Thursday. It is important year six students know we won't be back until the busses have gone.

This week we start our information reports and don't forget to edit your writing on line. (Writing page)

Week 5

Fantastic tramp last week and well worth the wait. All students showed good teamwork and demonstrated what they learnt about crossing rivers. This week we start our virtual field trip to the Ashburton Lakes area and I am sure our tramp experience will have great examples of what Andrew and his team get up to.
We have an on-line audio conference on Tuesday at 9:00 Any body can listen in to some of us, asking questions to the experts. Go to the LEARNZ link our user is Methven9 pass word ........

Click on the picture to see more of Ricky Otaki's fantastic photos and leave a comment telling us what learning the pictures show.
