Global Warming

1.    Start with the planning sheet and fill in what you already know about global warming.

2.  Go to  http://tiki.oneworld.net/global_warming/climate_home.html#SSHR1%3Dt07i09sn+bsmp

3.  Read the page “What is climate?” then write your own explanation of the difference between climate and weather.

4.  Read the page “Hotting up”. Then name 5 fossil fuels and write a definition of fossil fuels.

5.  Draw a diagram of how a green house stays hotter than the outside temperature. Then explain what this has to do with global warming.

6.  What will happen if the climate heats up and melts the polar ice?

7.  What can we do to help global warming?


8.  Go back to your planning sheet and complete in a different colour.

    I found it hard finding info for my summarising project. On some websites it was hard to summarise that's why I don't have much info.

    I enjoyed doing the independent research activity because I liked the topic I chose which was the solar system.
    I think even though I finished it, I should have worked on it at home.
