Week 10
Week 10 already still heaps to do. We need to get information reports typed on a word doc then cut and past to a google doc and share with me. If you don't have a google account sign in as Ron Winterslow.
Maths is still addition and subtraction with most students working on the standard written form.

The paradise duck has flight feathers, the first one is thin sharp but not enough to cut yourself then the back one's will do the rest to get up into the air. Down feathers that can be stufted into a puffer jacket the paradise duck has layers & layers of down feather to keep them nice and warm.

Paridise ducks have web feet and a bent,black bill. They have light brown,green,black and white to camouflage.They also have down feathers and layers of layers of feathers.

webbed feet so they swim , bent bill with brissles , alldifferent courles and down feathers to keep warm and flight wings plus have eyes on the side of the head.

The Paradise/ parry has lots of couler feathers like green,black,white,brown.

They don't have their eyes in the same place as we do they have their eyes on their side and they only use one eye to aim at it's food.
They do not have a strat back it is Bent.
They have a oil type waterproof jacket.

The paradise duck has lots of coloured feathers that are white, black, brown and some green on the wings. Their webbed feet help the swim faster in the water, its eyes are on the sides and it only uses one eye to look for a nice place to land. They rub a waterproofing oil that makes the feathers waterproof. To find food it will move its bill side to side, also its bill points up slightly. The duck has lots of layers of feathers called down feathers which keep them warm( they can also be put into puffer jackets). The duck has a sharper feather on each side of its wings which cut through the air as they fly.CR

Deletethe paradise duck has web feet to help them swim . the eyes on a paradise duck are on the out side of there head because they are not a predator. there wing feathers are very fine so it can cut through the wind and so it make them more aerodynamic.

The paradise duck has fluffy down feathers with layers of water proof feathers on top. Also they have different colours on them like green, white, brown and black. Plus they have the bristles to help them scavenge for food.
ReplyDeleteI like paradise duck. They have brissles. The brissles are for catching invertebrate they are really useful for there food. They can live up to 2~3 years! Female is white head color, male has black colored head.
