Well done to all the cross-country participants. What a great day.
This term we are working closer with Lyndhurst. Mrs Hooker will be teaching Writing and Mr Cooke Will do Reading. There will be an interchange at 9.15 each day. All reading activities will be on the blog and students can take home related reading material. Please ensure reading material is returned each day.
Maths has started on Multiplication and Division Strategies. There are practise sheets available from the class for all the strategies. Dragon Maths books both have chapters on Multiplication and Division that can be worked through. Students should recognise any strategies being worked on in class.
PE will use Hockey to teach team work and using space in games as we have more sessions with NZ Hockey in class.
Topic will be follow on work from our look at wetlands and the environment with a focus on Students leading their learning. We will be providing assistance for students to research and present findings on topics related to our environment.
